About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• 2 years of ICU experience, high acuity preferred
• Comfort with titrating drips

Description :

Profile review will be conducted prior to an interview.

Nurses will primarily be assigned to one facility but may float as needed.

Travelers may be required to float to different facilities within the region.

Additional pay may be provided when floating outside the primary facility.

Travelers must start on general hospital orientation dates.

Units included in the float pool encompass various specialties including critical care, observation, medical-surgical, and more.

Standard patient ratios apply based on acuity levels.

Typical assignments will involve 1-2 patients, with adjustments as necessary based on acuity.

Nurses will need to be comfortable titrating various medications.

Charge nurses and house supervisors do not take patient assignments.

Support staff is available on units to assist with care.

Monitoring technology is in place, and RNs are expected to read strips.

Self-scheduling is allowed, and weekend shifts are required.

Holiday requirements are also part of the commitment.

Assignments are created by charge nurses, with RNs choosing their roles.

Dress code requires royal blue scrubs.

There is a cancellation policy in place for shifts.

The charting system used is Cerner.
