The technologist will use independent judgment and technical expertise to ensure high-quality imaging, radiation safety, and accurate patient care in compliance with NRC and departmental protocols. Responsibilities Inject and administer radiopharmaceuticals, assay activities, calculate volume and concentrations, and record data in dose tracking systems Prepare, measure, and perform quality control of radiopharmaceuticals Position patients according to Nuclear Medicine protocols and monitor patients during procedures Start intravenous (IV) access using aseptic techniques Operate all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation including gamma cameras (planar and SPECT), PET, dose calibrators, and radiation detectors Perform quality control on all equipment Apply radiation safety measures (ALARA) for patient and occupational exposures Maintain compliance with NRC guidelines for handling, administering, and transporting radioactive materials Requirements Active RN License not required – but must be a certified Nuclear Med Technologist 2 years Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience – Required BLS (AHA) – Required ARRT (N) or CNMT certification – Required NMTCB certification – Preferred Knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS) and HIS – Preferred Strong understanding of radiopharmacy, patient safety, and radiation safety practices Contact : HumanEdge Health / >
