Travel MRI Technologist – Nights

Location : Albany, NY

Assignment Length : 13 Weeks

Start Date : 9 / 24 / 2025

Shift : Sunday–Wednesday, 7 : 30 PM – 6 : 00 AM (Four 10-hour shifts)

Weekends : Every other

Holidays : Rotating

On-Call : None

Position Summary :

A Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center in Albany, NY is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week night assignment. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures and assists with patient care in a fast-paced environment. The technologist supports both clinical and teaching operations, performing exams on inpatients, outpatients, research patients, and those requiring specialized MRI-guided procedures.

Responsibilities :

Perform MRI scans safely and accurately for a wide range of patients including trauma, ER, ICU, and outpatient populations

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures

Assist in clinical evaluation of patients as appropriate

Maintain quality control, equipment calibration, and proper documentation

Support teaching and continuing education within the department

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience

ARRT Certification

NYSDOH License

Travel experience preferred
