About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : 2 years of MS / Tele experience required; Float Pool experience preferred

License : Valid state license required at the time of submission

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

• 2 years of MS / Tele experience
• Float pool experience preferred
• PCU / Step Down experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring skills required
• No first-time travelers for float

Description :

The Registered Nurse will float to various medical / surgical and telemetry units as needed.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in MS / Tele nursing.

Float pool experience is preferred but not mandatory.

PCU / Step Down experience is also preferred.

This position involves monitoring telemetry on the unit.

The nurse will care for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients.

The patient / nurse ratio is 1 : 6, flexible up to 1 : 7 when necessary.

Self-scheduling and blocked scheduling options are available.

Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.

CERNER EMR experience is required.

BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.

The patient age group includes adults.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as traveling candidates.

The RN is expected to possess primary IV skills.
