Job description

Care Career is seeking a local contract Pharmacist for a local contract job in Hays, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Pharmacist
  • Discipline : Allied Health Professional
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 10 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Local Contract

Position Overview

  • Shift : Day, 4x10-hour shifts (07 : 00 – 17 : 00)
  • Schedule : Mon-Fri, either 5x8s or 4x10s
  • EHR : Meditech experience preferred; facility uses Expanse

    • Job Duties / Skills

  • Work in central pharmacy :

    • Order verifications

  • Checking of items, orals and IVs
  • Must float if another unit is short staffed
  • Expected to work some holidays

    • Experience Requirements

  • Some familiarity with Meditech / Exapnse EHR is expected

    • Scheduling / Time Off

  • Block scheduling : No block >

    • 3–4 shifts

  • RTO (Requests for Time Off) :

    • Keep minimal, especially first 2 weeks

  • Full-week RTO during assignment discouraged
  • Must be approved / documented prior to start

    • Other Notes

  • Floating : Required if units are short-staffed
