Role Overview

• Senior technical team member responsible for daily IT operations, handling 3rd-level incident escalations and remediation, project planning, and managing tools and services.
• Demonstrates leadership within Enterprise Client Computing Operations and leads by example.
• Provides timely reports and metrics on requests and incidents.
• Guides and directs operations administrators / engineers to ensure workload balance and progress.
• Offers strategic input on overall IT direction.
• Assists in constructing and maintaining a standardized corporate desktop image.
• Oversees image maintenance as hardware evolves to prevent incompatibilities.
• Researches and recommends updates, patches, and fixes for desktops based on severity and impact.
• Plans and implements remote software deployment using Active Directory, login scripts, or third-party tools with minimal disruption.
• Creates unattended installation packages using scripting, batch files, and third-party software.
• Investigates and proposes new technologies to enhance efficiency, security, and productivity.
• Tests all new software against the existing desktop image prior to deployment.
• Engineers solutions for common and complex desktop issues.
• Collaborates with project managers on global initiatives focusing on technical design, risk assessment, cost, timing, and benefits.
• Automates desktop management through scripting for consistent and predictable services.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 / hr.
