Unit : Telemetry (37 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : December 9, 2025

End Date : March 10, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7PM – 7AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1470 - $1570

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6 (general), 1 : 4 (Heart Cath patients)

Electronic Medical Record : Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team

Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Monitor and care for patients in the Telemetry unit, including Heart Cath recovery

Administer medication drips, manage central lines, and operate PCA / IV pumps

Perform bubble studies, manage chest tubes, and conduct other telemetry procedures

Collaborate with RNs, Patient Care Techs, and Unit Clerks to deliver high-quality clinical support

Document patient care accurately in the Meditech EMR system

Maintain compliance with hospital guidelines, safety protocols, and unit policies
