Summary :

The General Laborer will assist in all aspects of Infrastructure construction projects, working under the direction of the project foreman or superintendent. This role involves preparing job sites, handling construction materials, maintaining clean and organized work areas, assisting skilled tradespeople, and operating basic construction equipment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities :

Site Preparation & Cleanup :

Assist in setting up and preparing construction sites, ensuring they are safe and organized.

• Remove debris, clean up materials, and maintain clear pathways for crews and equipment.

Material Handling & Equipment Operation :

Load, transport, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Earthwork & Trenching :

Dig trenches, compact soil, and backfill excavated areas to support underground utility installations.

Concrete Work & Forming :

Assist in placing, leveling, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, curbs, foundations, and other structures.

Structural & Carpentry Support :

Assist in layout and installation of walls, metal stud framing, millwork, and doors.

General Site Assistance :

Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications :

Ability to use measuring tape, power tools, and hand tools.

Ability to lift up to 90 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to take direction from supervisors.
