Description
Essential Job Functions :
- Assist in the resolution of technical support issues for client / server hardware and software.
- Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server infrastructure.
- Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Windows server environment.
- Assist with installation, configuration and support of network infrastructure equipment.
- Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot storage arrays and related devices.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network based services : File and Print services, Email, Active Directory, DHCP / DNS / WINS
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot messaging and meeting systems : conference room equipment, audio / video conferencing, etc.
- Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot SharePoint environment.
- Configure, maintain, image, update windows PC deployments.
- Perform additional tasks as requested, including but not limited to : data backups, system, network and border security review, new site configuration, disaster recovery, recommendation, testing and procurement of IT related hardware and software, document systems and processes, end user coaching and training.
Other Skills & Abilities :
Working knowledge of LAN and WAN topologies and architecture.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft server, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint.Working knowledge of Server and PC operating systems including Windows 2008 and 2012, PC operating systems such as Windows XP, 7 and 8.Working knowledge of configuring and maintaining VMware and virtual environments.Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining all servers, storage arrays, and related equipment, including replication, mirroring, and de-duplication services.Experience in configuring and running Microsoft DHCP and DNS services.Some knowledge of IP TelephonyWorking knowledge PC hardware and components including processors, mother boards, accessories, cards, peripherals.Working knowledge of PC / LAN application softwareKnowledge of databasesWorking knowledge of IT securityStrong client service skills required.Develop effective working relationships with clients, co-workers and vendorsAbility to communicate with all levels of management and IT clientsAbility to interface with technical staff and vendors.Physical Requirements :
Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.Education & Experience :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.Industry certifications will be considered along with experience for non-degreed candidates.Minimum requirements : 3 5 years of experience providing information technology administration services in Windows environment. Two years of SharePoint site administration in 2010 and or 2013 environments.Certifications and Licenses :
