About You

You are a healthcare insider. You’ve spent years working with or inside the healthcare system, navigating how providers communicate with patients, how staff coordinate care, and how technology fits into those workflows. You may have worked for an EHR vendor, a healthcare IT company, or a patient engagement platform – in a sales, marketing, or general management role —and wherever you’ve been, you’ve lived the realities of this space.

Your network spans executives, clinicians, and IT leaders. You understand how decisions are made in healthcare, from physician practices and community hospitals to enterprise health systems. You know where EHRs like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, and others fit and operate—and where they don’t. And you have a strong sense for how AI is reshaping patient engagement, care coordination, and administrative efficiency.

You’re commercially minded but pragmatic, able to translate the realities of healthcare operations into solutions that drive value. You will have ideally have worked in or been exposed to the Unified Communications or Contact Center as a Service industry. You’re energized by the chance to build something new in a market that’s ready for change.

About The Role

We are looking for a General Manager – Healthcare Solutions to lead Intermedia’s healthcare initiative. This is both a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll act as the GM of our healthcare business : defining the strategy, shaping the solution set, and ensuring flawless execution across product, sales, marketing, and partner channels to deliver communications solutions that address the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.

What You Will Be Doing

Market Strategy & Leadership

  • Define Intermedia’s healthcare solution strategy with a deep understanding of EHR or practice management ecosystems, compliance requirements, and provider workflows- where we fit in, where the opportunities are and expanding our right to win
  • Be our expert on how AI is transforming patient engagement and provider operations and embed those insights into Intermedia’s offerings to pave the way for communications leadership in the healthcare industry.
  • Own the healthcare business plan, including growth targets, investment priorities, and partner alignment.

Go-to-Market Planning & Execution

  • Develop and lead vertical-specific GTM plays and messaging that speak directly to healthcare executives, administrators, clinical staff, and other influencers and decision-makers.
  • Guide sales and channel teams on how to approach healthcare accounts, leveraging your network and industry expertise.
  • Create executive-level narratives that communicate the value of Intermedia’s healthcare solutions in the language of healthcare leaders.
  • Solution & Product Influence

  • Lead the definition of our product roadmap as it relates to the healthcare industry, working with the product team to prioritize features and functionality that will accelerate business.
  • Collaborate with product management to create new healthcare-specific capabilities, integrations (e.g., EHR, CRM, telehealth platforms), and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.).
  • Ensure solutions address real-world challenges in patient engagement, care coordination, and operational efficiency.
  • Sales Enablement & Partnerships

  • Equip sales teams with healthcare-specific playbooks, training, and competitive insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key players in the healthcare ecosystem—including EHR vendors, technology partners, and industry associations.
  • Participate in select sales discussions, lending your expertise to closing deals with high potential healthcare prospecs.
  • What You Will Bring to the Role

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare technology, ideally spanning EHR, patient engagement, or communications workflows.
  • A strong network of healthcare contacts, built through years of direct involvement in the space.
  • Deep knowledge of how EHRs , unified communications, and contact center solutions shape provider operations, with firsthand experience influencing or integrating into those workflows.
  • Proven ability to track and apply AI-driven trends in healthcare, particularly around patient engagement and operational automation.
  • Working within the marketing team, you will bring product and industry expertise to guide cross-functional teams and align stakeholders around a vertical-specific growth strategy.
  • Work with marketing to develop sales enablement material, campaigns, and provide support for sales when needed to position and pitch our healthcare solution.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage healthcare executives, clinicians, and technical buyers alike.
  • Bonus Skills

  • Experience bringing healthcare-specific solutions to market within a SaaS or communications company.
  • Familiarity with both large health systems and the down-market provider space (community hospitals, physician practices, specialty care).
  • Track record of scaling healthcare offerings in partnership with the broader ecosystem.
