Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred Overarching Project Management duties for one or more projects spanning initial opportunity identification, proposal generation, project kickoff, execution, and closeout Manage safety, quality, scope, budget, and schedule aspects of projects Develop new opportunity proposals, estimates, and accompanying documentation Lead Won project kickoff, execution, and closeout utilizing standard company tools / processes / procedures; including initial development and subsequent maintenance of job safety analysis, budget, schedule, cost tracking / analysis / forecasting, change order management, client status updates, progress meetings, etc. Collaborate with internal technical team members in the safe, timely, and quality execution of technical project scope; including participation in development and / or review of technical deliverables Coordinate with Division leadership to identify and resolve resource constraints in a timely fashion Support the implementation of companies Quality Management & Best Practices program within their projects Support the implementation of our NFPA 70E Electrical Awareness & Training program within their projects Triage Client support calls, including those after hours, to facilitate resource assignment, timely identification of issue(s), and subsequent resolution Average 25% travel with willingness to travel via air Safety : Applies safety policies; displays enthusiasm for safety; is proactive in safety matters; attends company safety meetings Accountability : Works required days; works required hours; follows company check-in check-out procedure Attitude : Exhibits a positive “can do” attitude; shows initiative; demonstrates dependability, commitment and involvement; accepts direction from qualified sources Teamwork : Interacts well with co-workers; displays a willingness to cooperate with team; assists team members; shows respect for all team members Knowledge : Applies the specific requirements of the job; displays the ability to perform the technical skills required by the job; knows and applies company policies Quantity and Quality of Work : Work performed meets or exceeds company standards of acceptability; has the ability to manage multiple tasks Problem Solving and Action : Analyzes problems and takes action based upon decisions made with good judgment Communication : Demonstrates ability to clearly, effectively, and respectfully communicate with clients and fellow coworkers; communications are timely and intelligent whether written or verbal Competitive salary with a discretionary bonus potential Benefit Time Off (BTO) that can be used as paid vacation, sick time, holiday, or as cash-out Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) & 401(k) plan for retirement with employer match Company funded health and dental insurance with low employee cost sharing Wellness & Vision subsidy Company paid short-term and long-term disability coverage

Position Summary :
Our company is a nationally recognized electrical power and control systems engineering firm and is seeking a qualified Project Manager in Sugarland, TX ( Houston)to aid our growing electrical power and control systems offerings.
Key Experience & Skills
- 5 years’ project management experience in the engineering field; electrical power and control systems experience is preferred
- Adept at the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
- Highly effective at written and verbal communications
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance
- Ability to work independently, but willing to seek guidance when needed
- Basic knowledge of sound engineering principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with regular priority changes
- Average 25% travel with willingness to travel via air
