Volvo Parts Support Staff

Responsibilities :

• Working with service technicians and advisors to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Track inventory (incoming and outgoing parts) and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain parts in appropriate storage areas, and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
• Handle parts payment collection and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service order.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Maintaining a clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers and work with technicians to fill repair orders.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and provide other information to customers.
