Supervisor, Central Sterile Processing Weekends / Nights

A Brief Overview

Supervises the decontamination, sterilization, storage, and limited distribution of patient care supplies and equipment. This includes the development of departmental policies, standard operating procedures, quality standards and workflows.

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients, customers & co-workers.

• Allocates resources effectively and manages departmental budget.
• Supervises the decontamination, sterilization, storage, and limited distribution of patient care supplies and equipment. This includes the development of departmental policies, standard operating procedures, quality standards and workflows.
• Supervises the departments inventory control practices.
• Collects, monitors & maintains departmental statistics to ensure compliance with all accreditation, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ability to work within the central sterile processing work stream as needed to support the business
• Additional work duties as needed
