Desktop Support Technician Contract - Onsite (955 Park Street, Columbia, SC 29201)
Required :
4+ years of experience in desktop and networked systems support
2+ years of experience in computer deployments, operation, and repair
2+ years of experience in hardware and software installation
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Experience supporting Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Edge Browser, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Expertise in supporting Microsoft Windows
Requires the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Requires the exertion of 20 pounds of force frequently.
High School diploma.
Associate or a bachelor’s degree in a related field. May be substituted for required work experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with a help desk ticketing system
Experience with NTS Network
Experience with Active Directory or InTune
Specific Skills :
Desktop / laptop / tablet imaging using MECM
BitLocker configuration & key verification in AD / InTune
Microsoft Windows & Office Suite support
Troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, scanners
Ticket logging & resolution through help desk system
Asset documentation according to SCDOT procedures
Basic knowledge of network-connected devices and NTS Network
