Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab assignment requiring a NM or Compact State license and strong prior specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab

10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week

Floating to other departments or nearby locations within 20 miles is required

Epic EMR experience is preferred, with on-site training available

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, assisting with procedures, and emergency response as required

Pass / fail Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia testing must be completed during orientation, with one opportunity to retest if necessary

Former permanent staff must wait one year before being reconsidered as a traveler

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local applicants are not eligible

Requirements

Active NM or Compact State RN license required

Minimum two years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab or related specialty experience

Must have successfully completed at least one prior 13-week travel assignment

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

Associate degree in nursing (ADN or ASN) is required
