Job description5+ years in construction (civil or geotechnical preferred) 1+ year experience as a Superintendent or equivalent leadership role Able to read / interpret scopes, specs, and plans Ability to work at jobs sites 3-4 weeks at a time. Traveling Superintendent
Seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field crews on geotechnical or civil construction projects. Ideal for someone who thrives in the field, values safety, and is looking for stable, year-round work with opportunities to grow.
Traveling Superintendent Responsibilities
- Lead on-site crews installing slope stabilization and other geotechnical systems
- Ensure jobsite safety by implementing site-specific safety plans
- Manage project execution—on time and on budget
- Maintain daily documentation (logs, progress reports, as-builts)
- Support and review crew performance, training, and development
- Oversee use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Maintain quality control and compliance with project specifications
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams
