A fast-growing private equity fund with over $5B in AUM is seeking a Controller to join its lean and dynamic finance team. This is a newly created role designed to support the firm’s continued growth, expansion into new strategies, and increasing operational complexity.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a critical role in building out the finance infrastructure of a top-tier investment platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of fund accounting, management company accounting, and reporting
- Manage external fund administrators, auditors, and tax providers
- Partner with investment and operations teams to support deal activity and portfolio company oversight
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes
- Assist in preparing materials for LP reporting and fundraising efforts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry best practices
- Potential to build and lead a small team over time
