Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant Oncology Hospitalist 36 Hours Midnights Detroit

New position with growing oncology team specializing in cancers of the GI tract. Position includes a strong APP presence in the division and comes with our Henry Ford Health comprehensive benefit package.

• The Specialty / Invasive Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
• The Specialty / Invasive NP or Physician Assistant will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families.
• Provides inpatient and / or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience.
