Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Kansas City

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is currently hiring for the position of Sr. Right-of-Way Agent in Kansas City, Missouri. The individuals we are looking for must be self-starters and able to perform the following tasks with minimal supervision. This is an in-office position.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good relationships with surface owners, local government officials, and agencies.
• Represent the client and self professionally and with integrity. Ability to relate to people from various backgrounds and diffuse tense situations quickly.
• Negotiate terms for surface agreements, including surface use agreements, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Settle surface damages and ensure access to company assets.
• Thorough understanding of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles, and relevant laws / regulations.
• Conduct internal and external title research independently.
• Experience with mapping software (GIS, Google Earth) and ability to learn internal systems.
• Interpret drawings and redline as needed (alignment drawings, property plats, permit drawings, etc.).
• Navigate multiple client databases and conduct online research effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with geoAMPS, Pandell Projects, or ESRI GIS software is preferred.
