Industrial Maintenance Technician ($2000 Sign-On Bonus)

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• include, but are not limited to, the following :
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance in assigned area.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical / electronic equipment used in the facility.
• Perform repairs and equipment installation / removal in an efficient manner.
• Maintain good housekeeping at workstations and work areas.
• Respond to plant emergencies including Haz-Mat incidents, equipment malfunction, fires, severe weather, etc. as directed by supervision.
• Lock out / tag out certification.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned work orders / requests and checklists.
• Special projects / duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor or manager.
• SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

• EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
• Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and / or electrical
• Basic welding experience
• Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
• Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks
• Operational knowledge of common hand, power and industrial tools
• Valid Driver’s License
• Preferred
• Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
