About The Position

Minimum 2 years of experience required; Level 1 trauma and neuro experience required; 3-4 years preferred.

Must-Have :

Candidate must have circulator skills and experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse to work in an operating room setting.

The unit is a Level 1 trauma center with a focus on orthopedic, spine, and neuro procedures, although other service lines may be present.

Candidates should be flexible with scheduling as shifts may vary and include weekends.

The hospital sees a daily patient census of 60-70 cases and requires experience with complex surgical procedures.

Travelers are expected to work during holidays; preference is given to those willing to work Christmas.

Candidates should be equipped to handle a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to trauma, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement.

Rotating shifts will require working days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Experience in EPIC charting is also necessary.

Candidates will be part of an interdisciplinary support team caring for a diverse patient population including adults and pediatrics.

The facility has a total of 25 operating beds with a high emphasis on trauma and acute care.

This role does not involve on-call duties.

All applicants must meet compliance requirements prior to acceptance.

Consideration will be given to first-time travelers with the requisite experience.
