Security Professional - Transportation Site - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Professional in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the transportation location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the transportation facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors.

Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to promote a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
