Reporting Analyst

Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data & Reporting QA Engineer with deep expertise in SQL, data validation, and Unix-based environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating business reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, understanding end-to-end data flow, identifying edge cases, and performing white-box testing using PL / SQL and backend logic analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, subqueries, aggregations, window functions) for complex data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Unix / Linux commands for file operations, log analysis, and automation scripts.
• Solid understanding of data flows, ETL processes, and how source-to-report transformation works.
• Experience in PL / SQL or other database programming for analyzing stored procedures / functions.
• Ability to conduct white-box testing by understanding the logic behind the code and validating data accordingly.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE, etc.), and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, DataStage) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
