SLUCare Physician Group , a member of SSM Health & The Academic Medical Center seeks a highly qualified and passionate general pediatrician to join our General Academic Pediatric Division . This position offers an exciting opportunity to care for infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 21 years, contributing to their overall health and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in general pediatrics, along with a commitment to academic excellence and patient-centered care.

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including preventive services, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about pediatric health issues, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in research activities, including clinical trials and scholarly projects, to advance knowledge in the field of general pediatrics.
• Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows through didactic lectures, mentorship, and clinical supervision.
• Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine by attending conferences, seminars, and continuing medical education programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of pediatric healthcare services.
• Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of clinical care, education, and research.
