What You'll Do !
The Social Impact Coordinator supports the development and execution of social responsibility initiatives that align with our brand's mission, values, and community goals.
This role bridges marketing, community engagement, and compliance - ensuring that our public-facing programs make a measurable difference while enhancing brand credibility and consumer trust.
The ideal candidate is passionate about community empowerment, restorative justice, and responsible cannabis culture, with a strong ability to connect storytelling to impact.
Job Responsibilities :
Community & Partnership EngagementSupport the planning and implementation of community outreach programs, charitable partnerships, and equity initiatives.Build and maintain relationships with local nonprofits, advocacy groups, and social equity organizations.Coordinate volunteer opportunities, donation drives, and educational events that reflect the company's social impact goals.Marketing & Communications AlignmentCollaborate with the marketing team to develop content that highlights social impact projects across digital, print, and social media platforms.Ensure all social impact messaging aligns with brand tone, compliance regulations, and local cannabis advertising laws.Assist in preparing talking points, press releases, and case studies showcasing the company's community efforts.Measurement & ReportingTrack, measure, and report the outcomes of social impact programs (e.g., volunteer hours, funds raised, partnerships developed).Maintain accurate data for annual CSR reports and sustainability updates.Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement in impact strategy and storytelling.Internal EngagementWork cross-functionally with HR and Operations to encourage employee participation in community initiatives.Support internal DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) communications and learning sessions.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive . Education & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing , Communications, Public Relations, Social Work, or related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience in community relations, social impact, CSR, or marketing (experience in the cannabis industry preferred).Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting and coordinating events.Familiarity with cannabis regulations and social equity programs is a plus.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Passion for social justice, sustainability, and responsible cannabis culture.We are an equal opportunity employer.
