Position Overview
The CLE and Licensure Coordinator will support the firm’s CLE and Licensure function, reporting to the CLE and Licensure Manager. This role is essential in managing CLE programming, licensure compliance, and related administrative functions, ensuring attorneys and professional staff maintain required credentials and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
Manage the firm’s CLE programming, coordinating accreditation and delivery for internal and client-facing programs, including live, online, and off-site trainings.
Process attendance forms and issue CLE certificates for internal and external programs; maintain accurate records in the firm’s internal database.
Oversee CLE-related technology platforms, including the firm’s Learning Management System; troubleshoot access issues and maintain data integrity.
Coordinate firm-wide payment processes for bar dues and professional memberships, ensuring timely renewals, accurate tracking, and communication with attorneys and staff.
Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys and professional staff regarding CLE scheduling, licensure, and related processes.
Build and maintain relationships with CLE authorities, stay current on regulatory guidelines, and communicate updates to attorneys and staff.
Support event coordination for CLE programs, including logistics such as venue selection, room setup, catering, and audio-visual needs.
Assist the CLE Manager and department with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or related field.
Prior experience in the legal industry preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internal document management systems.
Strong analytical skills and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
