Direct Counsel is seeking a Patent Agent / Advisor to join a nationally recognized patent counseling & prosecution practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to leverage your technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering while working on cutting-edge technologies for leading clients across industries.

What We’re Looking For :

Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)

At least one year of law firm experience in patent counseling & prosecution

Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills

Registered U.S. Patent Agent or eligibility to sit for the USPTO registration exam

Initiative, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Compensation & Benefits :

Base salary range : $125,000 – $205,000 , depending on experience and location
