Electro-mechanical Technician

Job purpose

The Electro Mechanic role is responsible for maintaining and responding to trouble calls for repairs on manufacturing equipment; including electrical and mechanical systems.

Duties and responsibilities

The primary job duties and responsibilities are :

• Repair, modify and maintain manufacturing equipment to insure products are in specification.
• Fabricates parts not commercially available,
• Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
• Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors / Managers.
• Assist (as required) in the training & skill up grading of other maintenance and production personnel
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.
• Maintains excellent safety record.
• Maintains excellent attendance record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
