Data Center Inventory Senior Manager

Data Center Inventory Control Management (DCICM) is a key pillar within the Data Center Operations organization. The team ensures end-to-end inventory accuracy, material accountability, and logistical readiness across both live environments and data center build projects. DCICM safeguards inventory practices from initial receipt through full operational handoff and sustainment.

We are seeking a strategic and influential Senior Manager to lead inventory operations across a defined section of the Americas region during both the build and post-build sustainment phases of data center infrastructure. This role provides leadership oversight across multiple builds and live sites within the assigned geography, ensuring DCICM standards, policies, and best practices are implemented consistently and sustained beyond construction. The Senior Manager will guide managers and senior specialists, oversee 3PL performance within their region, and serve as the escalation point for high-impact inventory and logistics challenges. Reporting into the Global DCICM leader, this role ensures sub-regional execution is aligned to global strategy, while also tailoring solutions to local operational realities.

Specific duties and responsibilities include :

  • Multi-site build & post-build leadership :
  • Oversee inventory control operations across multiple builds and live data center sites within the assigned Americas sub-region. Ensure DCICM standards and controls are implemented consistently and sustained through operational handoff.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for systemic or high-impact issues affecting inventory accuracy, material flow, or 3PL execution within the sub-region. Anticipate risks, establish mitigation plans, and drive resolution.
  • Regional 3PL oversight :
  • Govern third-party logistics providers supporting inbound receiving, warehousing, and outbound deliveries across the sub-region. Define and manage SLAs, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent service levels.
  • Audit, compliance & governance :
  • Ensure adherence to corporate audit requirements, internal controls, and compliance standards across all sub-regional sites. Lead root cause investigations and enforce corrective actions.
  • Cross-functional integration :
  • Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, construction, finance, and operations leadership in the sub-region to align material readiness with program schedules and operational needs.
  • End-to-end material flow oversight :
  • Direct and refine material flow strategies across the sub-region to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and resiliency against disruption.
  • ERP System Integrity & Analytics :
  • Maintain ERP accuracy (Oracle or equivalent) and drive sub-regional KPI reporting on inventory accuracy, throughput, shrinkage, and vendor performance. Leverage data for decision-making and process improvements.
  • Standardization & Process Governance :
  • Enforce global SOPs and ensure consistent execution across all sites in the sub-region. Partner with peers in other regions to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Alignment with Global DCICM :
  • Ensure sub-regional practices are in sync with global DCICM strategy, while providing feedback and local insight to inform global policy and process evolution

Must have skills / qualifications include :

  • 12+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics, including 5+ years in leadership roles with multi-site accountability.
