IFS Operations Associate

Responsible for the implementation of processes and infrastructure to ensure delivery of high-quality products and timeliness of product operations. May include learning to employ basic technological concepts (e.g., data structures and database design) in order to work with Information Technology professionals in implementing process improvement and risk mitigation projects and due diligence responsibilities such as, gathering information, analyze operational risk performance, identify possible risks and make recommendations for operational improvements to product offerings.

Under general supervision and direction of the Manager of IFS Operations, this person will be responsible for daily operational tasks as it relates to held-away retirement plan and institutional business. Operational tasks range from data reconciliation to assisting Advisors with operational inquiries. Individual should have a broad understanding of the different areas of investment advisory relationships and broker-dealer services. Contact with internal and external parties, including Financial Advisors, will be required. Leads defined work or projects of moderate scope and complexity. Resolves or recommends solutions to complex problems.

This is a hybrid role, and the associate is expected to work in the office three days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and respond to Advisor inquiries and questions through a group mailbox
• Assist team with Fiduciary Program plan reporting used for Client deliverables
• Review of Advisory agreements and required Plan documents to ensure all pertinent information is accurate and accounted for regarding Raymond James Fiduciary programs.
• Work with recordkeepers on initiating / validating required fund changes with regard to Fiduciary Program.
• Assist with Financial Advisor inquiries regarding product offerings and retirement plan onboarding to firm systems.
• Assist Team and Financial Advisor's with training / onboarding to Firm's various third-party platforms relating to held-away retirement business.
• Assist internal service team with Firm's data aggregator tool as it relates to missing Plan level data needed from third party record-keepers
• Partner with Billing department to reconcile issues
• Perform various tasks as assigned

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Educational / Previous Experience Requirements :

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a related field with two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry.

An equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training approved by Human Resources.
