About Our Client

This company is a well-established, mid-sized organization in the Construction industry. They are known for their commitment to excellence and their structured approach to financial management, offering employees an environment to thrive professionally.

Our client is looking for a strong Job Cost Accountant in the construction industry to join the team as they've taken on a couple $30-40M projects. This role will be owning your own portfolio of clients, while using the softwares Foundation and ProCore to document financial data for ongoing projects.

Job Description

• Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Review and analyze project costs, identifying variances and recommending solutions to stay on track.
• Collaborate with project managers to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all project phases.
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
• Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation as needed.
• Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

The Successful Applicant

• 3+ years of experience in construction accounting
• Experience with construction software, Foundation
• Experience with construction software, ProCore
