Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Colorado to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.
Service areas incorporate :
- Fort Collins, Loveland, Greely
Responsibilities :
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.Assess the patient's mental status based on symptoms.Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.Job Type :
Full-time or Part-time availableW2 Billable Rate or 1099 Independent Contractor Rates
As a provider with BHS, you will have the freedom to create your own schedule, days of the week preferred.Requirements
Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees)1 year of Geri Psych Experience.1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and / or Acute Rehab Hospitals.Skills
Basic computer knowledge.Experience with EMR / EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).Excellent written communication.Attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills.Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations.Fluency in Spanish is a plus!Benefits
