Description :

The ICU role involves providing care to patients in a critical condition.

The position focuses on adult and geriatric populations.

Common diagnoses include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric issues.

Candidates must possess critical thinking skills.

The unit currently has 5 beds with plans to expand to 10 beds in February.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 2-3 : 1.

The environment utilizes various equipment, including ventilators, bipaps, infusion pumps, and glucometers.

A collaborative and supportive team dynamic is essential, with an emphasis on getting along with each other.

Required education includes all necessary certifications and licensure required to work as an RN.

Scrub color is flexible, but casual wear is unacceptable.
