PICU RN – Pediatric Intensive Care (December Start)\n\nUnit : Pediatric ICU, Boise Hospital, Floor 4 | Beds : 12 (census 4–6) | Ratio : 1 : 2\nCertifications : BLS, PALS | Experience : 2+ years PICU; EVD & trach / vent required; Epic & Alaris preferred\nPatient Types : Trach / vent, DKA, respiratory, surgical (trachs, G-tubes, shunts, hernia repairs, seizures)\nDrips : Propofol, fentanyl, epinephrine, etc. | Charge Nurse : Yes, no assignment\nStaffing : No nurse aides; RNs read own telemetry strips; pediatrician on-site days, occasionally on-call nights\nEquipment : Vent, bubble CPAP, BiPAP\nSchedule : 12-hr shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a), up to 5 shifts / block; weekends : 5 shifts / 6 weeks; holidays : at least 1 expected\nFloating : Pediatric assignments; may float for patient sitter duties\nScrubs : Any color | Orientation : 2x12-hr shifts\nRadius Rule : 50 miles (permanent address required for submission)
