Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech Job Details : Conduct specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular studies and / or electrophysiology studies Serve as lead worker and resource to medical and clinical staff Collaborate with intra-procedure team to provide safe patient care Participate consistently in Universal Protocol and site marking identification Assist with patient identification, preparation and draping, and room preparation for routine procedures Read physicians' orders / protocols and communicate with physicians on protocols for routine procedures Select equipment in accordance with protocols and regulatory standards Maintain and calibrate equipment, including preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting Conduct maintenance on special procedures equipment and calibrate prior to each procedure Weekend schedule to be determined by facility Rotating after hours call with required Sunday rotation Must have 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath / EP cases required Required certifications : RCIS, ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA) Texas Medical Radiologic License required Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc) or previous Cath / EP Lab setting preferred Previous travel experience preferred Facility : This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory providing specialized cardiovascular services.
