Part time / EOW

Company Description : Cheshire House is a 75-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Waterbury, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Dietary Aide. Come join our team!

Responsibilities :

  • Providing dining service to residents, guests, family members and employees as needed.
  • Prepare trays and serves food according to menus and following diet orders.
  • Assists in maintaining clean and properly sanitized production and retail areas.
  • Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators / freezers, etc.
  • Sweep and mop floors as directed

Dietary Aide Pay Rate :

    • Requirements :

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education. Must have "Serve Safe of Sanitation" certification.
  • Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
