Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1 to join their dedicated team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting the Data Center Logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title : Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1

Location : Northlake, IL

Pay Range : $25 - $26 / hr

What's the Job?

Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accuracy and compliance

Coordinate and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities

Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and regulatory compliance activities within the Data Center environment

Manage material movement, shipping, and receiving processes according to standard procedures

Support the destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or equivalent

At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
