Maintenance Supervisor

Large Automotive Manufacturing company located in the Jackson Michigan area is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (2 openings - one on day shift and one on night shift).

JOB DUTIES

Assist the Maintenance Manager for the efficient use of the departments manpower, materials, parts and other resources under their supervision.

Coordinates maintenance efforts between shifts to achieve accurate changeover to quickly resolve downtime carry over issues then discusses long term fixes plaguing issues.

Oversee the development of journeyman and technicians under their supervision.

Guides shift to maintain CMMS information accuracy and effectiveness to include work orders, PM tasks, and detailed information as required.

Involved with continuous improvement on Preventive Maintenance systems and ensure job functions are serving proper purpose to eliminate downtime

Involved in Root Cause analysis or Kaizen events. and maintains work areas in a safe and orderly fashion including 5-S Standards

REQUIRED

7+ years working in Maintenance in a plant manufacturing environment

2+ years working as a supervisor

Experience in manufacturing tooling design, lean concepts, automation, logic, mechanical, design, and implementation.
