Job descriptionSort, separate, and process ferrous and non-ferrous metal materials Operate heavy equipment including excavators, forklifts, and material handlers equipped with grapple and magnet attachments Assist customers with unloading and direct materials to proper areas Inspect incoming materials and remove non-recyclable or hazardous items Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues Follow all safety protocols, company procedures, and environmental regulations High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience operating heavy equipment required Familiarity with material handling machinery and attachments (grapples, magnets) Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must possess a valid drivers license Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
