Qualifications :

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or LMHP-Eligible with the State of Virginia
  • Master's Degree in a related human services field
  • EMDR Certification preferred
  • 3 years of experience in direct services with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
  • Deep understanding of effective mental health treatment modalities and best-practice approaches

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver outpatient individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis management and psycho-education services
  • Conduct initial client intake and assessment; develop and implement tailored treatment plans
  • Maintain and update diagnostic assessments and records, providing accurate DSM-V diagnoses
  • Ensure thorough documentation for clinical and record-keeping purposes
  • Review documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports, as needed
  • Undertake additional duties within the scope of the position as required
