Responsibilities Work in a Level 1 Trauma, acute care hospital setting Trauma / Med Surg unit with telemetry monitoring Day and night rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1 : 4-5 on days and 1 : 5-6 on nights May float to other similar Med / Surg and Telemetry units within the facility Uses Epic for charting and documentation Responsibilities include individualized nursing care, coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and nursing interventions Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to provide care across the continuum Candidates must wear navy blue scrubs May be required to badge in and out each shift Holiday coverage may be required based on shift rotation Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted with pay adjustment Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting Experience in telemetry strongly preferred Must not have worked for Sanford Health within 6 months prior to consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630372.
