Program Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Program Analyst to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs and projects across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights. This role is critical in helping departments optimize performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.
Essential Job Functions:
- Analyze program performance metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Assist in developing and monitoring project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to support performance reporting and continuous improvement
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
- Evaluate program policies, procedures, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement
- Support the coordination of cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication between departments
- Conduct research on best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Develop and implement systems and tools to track program performance
- Provide administrative and technical support for program reviews, audits, and evaluations
- Ensure program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards
Level of Supervision:
- Must be able to function independently
- Provide overview and general use training to all organization members and key leaders upon request
Travel Required:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of strategic sourcing and/or category management.
- Ability to lead workshops, gather and document business requirements while working with team to configure requirements.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of product sourcing, materials purchasing and consulting clients on vendor management best practices.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot and mentor teams to solve complex business issues.
- Ability to develop and create presentations within data analysis software.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira)
- Working knowledge of federal, state, or local government operations
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and/or SQL
