Job descriptionDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime on job sites Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed Proven 5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
