The Mechanical Designer will provide mechanical / HVAC design services on a variety of commercial building projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mechanical technical drafting and design on assigned projects
- Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings and for renovations and additions to existing facilities
- Perform quality control process relative to project responsibilities on assigned projects
- Perform initial site investigations and observations of work done by the installing contractor(s) related to contracted projects
- Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines
- Maintain assigned project schedules
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Additional duties as assigned

Completion of a high school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)Proficient in the use of Autodesk RevitTwo (2) years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical designBasic proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringFour (4) years of experience in HVAC / plumbing design in the MEP fieldAdvanced proficiency in the use of Revit
