Physician Gastroenterology - Competitive Salary

Job Description

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join an established Healthcare System.   Candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and motivation to optimize patient outcome through exceptional clinical care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

• Office Schedule :  Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 30 p.m.
• Physician Schedule :   3 – 4 half days in clinic, 3 – 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off
• Physician Call 1 : 5 – Physician takes 1 full week call (Friday 8 : 00 a.m. – Friday 8 : 00 a.m.), no clinic during call week only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage
• Call Friday to Thursday, Rotating Holidays
• Average Patient Volumes : Half Day Clinic 12 – 15, Half Day Surgery 8 – 10
• Practice shares 3 RN’s, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house
• Outreach Required
• Potential Virtual Visits
• Shared collaboration between physician for APP’s in group
• Hospital based Nurse Practitioner sees new consults and rounding ahead of physicians
• Clinic based Nurse Practitioner
• Strong mentorship available from senior physician leadership
• In-Network Oncology Services offering full spectrum, wrap around services
• Onsite Equipment Available
• HD Motility and EndoFlip located at the Surgicenter
• Advanced endoscopist in the group offering EUS and a wide range of pancreaticobiliary intervention
