Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the development of implantables and instruments systems, specifically within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in implants design and development, and will be able to execute a variety of systems engineering tasks with proficiency.

Must Have Qualifications

Experience in the development of implantables and instruments systems
Strong background in implants design and development
Experience with requirements management
At least 5 years of experience with medical device software
Familiarity with medical device quality systems, design verification, and validation

Nice to Have

Advanced experience as a Senior Systems Engineer

Experience with JAMA software

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :

Performing technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation

Evaluating alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability for total systems

Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions

Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detail trade studies

Translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Delivering R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies

Mentoring colleagues or directing the work of other professionals

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally 10 years

Advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is preferred

Work Schedule and Location

Full-time position, 40 hours per week

Work location : Moorpark office or Northridge office

Onsite requirement : 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
