Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Job Specialty : Multi-specialty Surgery Center

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Guaranteed Hours : Full-time

Experience : Minimum of 2 years within the specialty

License : Registered Nursing License

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must-Have : PACU experience in a high-volume surgery center

Job Description :

• Provide post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgery.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient recovery progress.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Administer medications and manage post-operative complications as required.
• Educate patients and families on home care instructions post-surgery.
• Document patient care and progress accurately.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of ear, nose, throat (ENT), and plastic surgeries.
