Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Occupational Therapy opportunity in an educational setting located in Manchester, TN, offering a contract for a leave replacement position. This role provides essential support to students requiring OT or sensory evaluations and treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct OT and sensory evaluations for referred students and those due for re-evaluation.
Deliver direct OT services to approximately 11 students across four different schools.
Provide consultation services to teachers and support teams for 15-20 students.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and support team discussions.
Collaborate with educators to develop and implement strategies that support student success.

Schedule :

3 days per week, 7 hours per day.

Primarily in-person support preferred.

Potential for increased hours if OT referrals rise.

Position duration : First week of February through one to two weeks before the school year ends.

Preferred Qualifications :

Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.

Skilled in administering OT and sensory evaluations.

Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, students, and families.

Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different locations efficiently.
