Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experienced in Cardiology or Emergency Medicine to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Practice Highlights :

• Embedded APC to work as a cardiac specialist in the Emergency Room
• 14-day shifts per month. The shift is 10 hours.
• Collaborate and interact with ER providers as well as cardiology team

Responsibilities

Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) with specialized experience or interest in cardiovascular emergency care to join our Cardiology Department team. The APC (advanced Practice Clinician) will collaborate closely with emergency medicine and cardiology teams to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute cardiac conditions in a fast-paced ER setting.

Credentials Required :

For Nurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license and ANCC or AANP certification required. Minimum of one year experience preferred but not required. Experience as an ER Nurse preferred.

For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required. Minimum of one year experience; Prior experience as an EMT or Scribe in an ER preferred
