Job descriptionHoly Cross Health Cancer Center is actively seeking Hematology/Oncology NP to join their team!Practice Setting: Outpatient Practice 3-5 days a week for 8 hours per dayReason for Coverage: We had recent resignation of our full time Hem-Onc. The practice has a part-time 0.5 FTE Hem-Onc who we would like to support with a Locum Tenens. There is also a breast surgeon and surgical oncologists in the practice. The outpatient practice location shares space with a Radiation Treatment Center, staffed by two physicians. Dates of Coverage: 8/11/25 (or as soon as credentialed) - ongoing until Perm is hiredSchedule (2 options): M-W-F 8 hr/day coverage OR M-F 8 hr/day Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, GeriatricWhat Percentage of the Practice is Hematology, Oncology, Internal Medicine?: 25% Hematology, 75% Oncology, 0% Internal Medicine Number of Physicians in Practice: 0.5 FTE Hem Onc, 1.0 FTE Breast Surgeon, 1.0 FTE Surgical Oncologists, 2.0 FTE Radiation Oncologists Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? YesThey do have a patient navigator and a social worker. They also have a Medical Assistant and Practice Manager.They do not do chemo in the center, it's 2 miles away in the outpatient infusion centerPatient volume is ~70-80 patient load - but a lot of them are chronic management patients.Do not have a lot of emergent cases.A lot of Spanish-speaking patients - the provider does not need to be bilingual; they have interpreters.
